Brothers of Nehemiah Who We Are: The Brothers Of Nehemiah, is a community based Men's Ministry, located in the greater Manchester, NH area. We are a nondenominational, non- church affiliated ministry that provides resources, activities and fellowship to men. Our Mission: To reach the churched and unchurched with the knowledge that not one size fits all when it comes to ministry. So we have stepped outside the four walls of the conventional “church” to bring together an expanding group of Christian men burdened with exposing other men to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. How: Using Nehemiah as our example, when it came to building the wall, various churches and men have stepped forward to provide the resources needed to build their piece of the wall. What We Do: We are an evangelical ministry, considered to be conservative in our standards and beliefs. Our model is that we pool the resources of churches in the area so that we can refer participants to those resources. They may be Bible studies, food drives, mission trips, community activities, events, etc.. We know that with men it is all about a safe secure setting so we also seek to provide alternative means of fellowship through activities for those that want to grow deeper in their faith. These activities are offered through partner churches and by others involved in the ministry. We are unconventional in that the ministry includes opportunities for men that enjoy the outdoors, guns, fishing, camping, building, community service and in essence activities that are doing. We are presently working on partnering with churches in Maine and as far away as Plano, Texas. Nehemiah 2 - 17 Then I said to them, "You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace." 18 I also told them about the gracious hand of my God upon me and what the king had said to me. They replied, "Let us start rebuilding." So they began this good work. As a community acting as one, each took responsibility for rebuilding that section of the wall in front of their own homes... Nehemiah 3 - 22 The repairs next to him were made by the priests from the surrounding region. 23 Beyond them, Benjamin and Hasshub made repairs in front of their house; and next to them, Azariah son of Maaseiah, the son of Ananiah, made repairs beside his house. 24 Next to him, Binnui son of Henadad repaired another section, from Azariah's house to the angle and the corner, 25 and Palal son of Uzai worked opposite the angle and the tower projecting from the upper palace near the court of the guard. Next to him, Pedaiah son of Parosh 26 and the temple servants living on the hill of Ophel made repairs up to a point opposite the Water Gate toward the east and the projecting tower.
